Who am I?

Easy question. I'm a former Cali Boy turned Texan. In all seriousness though, I'm currently a waiter in a restaurant somewhere in Dallas, Texas, trying to save up money to become a realtor. I'm not the type of guy who wants to work a 9 to 5 my entire life and be told by others what my day is going to consist of. That's not the type of life I want to live, and the simple fact that you're reading this means you're probably like me too. I want more out of life.

Why This Blog?

Recently I have been reflecting on my life and the lives of my peers around me, noticing that so many of the younger generation have lost a sense of control in their lives. Whether it's from a lack of passion or over-stimulation due to the internet, so many people are missing key elements in having a healthy and productive life. From having poor relationships with other people due to a lack of self-confidence, simply not knowing how to budget and save money, to working on self-discipline. I'm here to figure these things out and improve the lives of those who want to do better in being self-fulfilled.

How Will the Blog Function?

The goal is to post twice a week. Once on Wednesday and once on Sunday. Wednesdays are going to focus on one aspect of self-improvement like, How to Improve Self Discipline and, The Benefits of Journaling & How to Incorporate it into Your Daily Routine, and then challenge you to incorporate it into your life the following Sunday with me. Sundays are meant to be more of a journal-focused post, talking about how applying the previous week's challenge/self-improving tip has impacted my daily life.
